Symptoms

The DVR is powered on but the video output is scrolling and black and white

Solution

The JPEG2000 DVR is designed to auto detect NTSC and PAL video systems. If the system does not detect the video system correctly, you can switch the video system manually.

Follow the steps:

  1. Turn off DVR.
  2. Switch the video system:
    1. Switch to PAL: Hold down MENU and RIGHT (direction key) and then turn on the DVR, and the DVR will switch to PAL.
    2. Switch to NTSC: Hold down MENU and LEFT (direction key) and then turn on the DVR, and the DVR will switch to NTSC.
    3. Switch to Auto detection: Hold down MENU and ENTER and then turn on the DVR, and the DVR will switch back to auto detect.
